Works great. I drove 2000 miles in 3 days and this was a perfect space saver instead of packing a ramp and a bed extender to move my gear. Sturdy enough to still be solid with a street bike. I was able to load an unload by using a 3 step step-ladder to walk the bike up and down. I had to use a piece of 2x6 to smooth out the first few rungs beacuse the inital approach is kind of steep with the spacing of the rungs/ladder bars. However I was self loading a heavy street bike. Never came loose on a cross country trip. Side mounting straps are a little under sized I think, however if they wear I can redo them in a couple years with normal size webbing.
