Ok I don't have a windshield or any fairings on my bike so I feel it all and I can say this jacket is plenty cool (with the liner removed) during the summer, when I'm moving anyway, and kinda warm when in cooler weather except for the chest and neck areas. The liner doesn't do much there and I definitely need more gear to keep my chest and neck warmer. I do love how the sleeves tighten up with straps so you don't have loose fabric flapping and as far as water resistance I did feel a little damp after riding in rain though not nearly as damp as my legs which were not in water resistant fabric. I have the XL and I'm 215lbs with a little thick midsection and it fits me pretty closely but honestly makes me look slimmer and more fit because of the pads in the shoulders lol. If I gained another 10lbs I don't think it'd zip though! I'm gonna keep it for many years to come. I'd love to find one with softer fabric though but I'm sure it'd be a lot harder to scrub the bug splatter out if that was the case.Im 5'3", 190 lbs, 38,30,42 and the XL fit perfectly. Not too big with some adjustment space. I wasn't looking for a form fitting jacket and this perfect to leave enough room for a hoodie during Fall season.Pros:Color true to imageEasy to remove and add armor to shoulders and elbowsEasy to adjust straps at arms, waist and wristsTwo pocketsMedium weightDurable materialCons:Front/main zipper constantly sticks while zipping up or downBoth front pockets are behind flaps at an angle so while things can't easily drop out, it's a pain in the neck to put your hands or a phone/wallet in them.So far, I would definitely order another jacket of this styleGreat jacket for the money! When I first got it, it was a bit snug. I went through a medium, XL, then finally settled on a L. It is true to size.. I thought shorter sleeves would be the way to go(M), but it was a bit too tight. I went with the XL for room to move in, but that was a bit too big around the chest/abdomen. I usually wear a Large.. should have went with that to begin with.Fabric and stitching is high quality. Foam pads are dense but still pretty light. Surprisingly comfortable. Feels like it would protect me pretty well during a skid. I don’t ever ride without it on anymore.Only negative to the jacket is it’s pretty hot on a sunny day. Wish it had some vents or something to help besides the mesh on the inside. The zip-in liner is nice and warm on those cold morning rides.Overall great jacket for the money. If you wear a men's large shirt get the XL. With just a tank top on the large jacket was restricting my movements. I'll return and get a size XL. Other than that the jacket seems well built and offers great padding in the elbows, shoulders, and back. The pad material seems to be of good quality and is better than my current jacket which has simply a foam pad. This one looks to be similar to neoprene rubber. Pads look to be approx 3/8" thick. The shoulder and elbow pads are CE level 1, not level 2. The back pad is not CE rated.Has an athletic cut which I love....very stylish and cool looking. Well made and well worth the price. Will it give you the the best protection if you take a header doing 90 mph on I95? Probably not.... Just keeping it real. But if you ride like a normal human, this jacket should protect you just fine. Highly recommended!Really impressed with the high quality materials and stitching. I will list pros and cons overall:Pros:- Quality, the material is heavy duty and stitching is great.- Padding is good (others have complained about padding. It’s definitely good and better / thicker / more dense than other jackets I’ve had)- Fit (overall fit is excellent with a few notes. I’m 6 ft 190 lbs. I like slim fitting so I got a medium. Fits great in chest and shoulders. Arms could be about 1/2 inch longer for me, but not a deal breaker. Also note, yes, this jacket is short in front at the belt / belly area. But this is the style. It’s more of a race style jacket. See the photos of their model when you scroll down a bit, the skinny guy with the goatee and hoop earrings. The way it fits him is exactly how it fits. Notice how it’s short in front above the belt. But I’ve come to like this. The back part is a bit longer to cover underwear / crack so that’s good.- Nice custom fit straps. Straps at waist and arms are good to customize fit if you want tighter vs. loose.- Looks great. Nice retro hipster look. My girlfriend says it reminds her of retro gas station attendant with the wording embroidered throughout jacket, kind of hipster style. I definitely like the looks better than the other goofy looking moto jackets on Amazon.Cons:- Lack of pockets. Only has the two main pockets at stomach area and nothing more. And these pockets are in an awkward position, a bit higher than normal, so it’s actually tough to get your hands inside because arms have to do a strange bend to get hands in pockets. I would have liked additional pockets. (Edit: there is an inside pocket near chest that I recently discovered which is nice.)- No vents. Yes, this jacket is hot but I wear it without the liner 99% of the time in Southern CA and it’s perfect. The liner is only needed in cold temps. Take out liner in warm to hot temps and you’ll be all good. With wind from riding it’s perfect even on hot days. But yes I would have liked some vents b/c it’s quite hot on days over 80 F.Those are the only cons I can think of. Maybe the fit with it being short at the stomach / belt area is a con but you should know what your ordering because it’s short in the photos and that’s normal fit for a racing style jacket.Overall happy with purchase. I’d say order your normal size. If you like medium Tshirts, order a medium. Etc.Nice coat for the priceBuena calidad, mejor de lo esperado. Relación calidad-precio muy buena. Se echa en falta algún bolsillo interior, aún así la chaqueta es TOP.Estoy muy contento con la compra, ajusta muy bien, trae protecciones y su peso es muy bueno.£80 for this?? I fell of my motorbike yesterday wearing your jacket.. My back is hurting the padding is not strong enough.. it does not absorb the impacts. The jacket looks cheap and very badly made. The padding is criminal how can you claim that this is a motorcycle jacket?? You mislead your customers like you mislead my self.. please guys avoid this jacket it will not protect you from a fall or crash.Quite impressive look and feel for the money. Tough material. I wear xl and didnt order a bigger one, fits perfectly, also leaving space for other clothes for the winter season. Careful though, its got only two pockets and no zipper in tge back to connect it to trousers. Also the back protection is not much of a protection, but...better than nothingIf you are wearing an M size clothing, buy the M size jacked. It's a good looking jacket and fits me perfectly. I have not yet ridden in the wet with it on yet so cannot comment on it's waterproof capability. Overall more than happy and would recommend to other riders.
