Great helmet as always from HJC. This is my 1st modular helmet in the last 56 years of riding. I should have purchased one a long while back. Best of both worlds so far. The fit and finish are great and the helmet just plain looks good. I’m really liking the built in sun visor and will be adding the Bluetooth system shortly. It is taking a bit longer than normal to break in the cheek pads, but it just keeps getting more and more comfortable with each wearing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this helmet for your day to day wear.I have worn large helmets all my adult life, and with this helmet I had to go thru three sizes to find an adequate fit. I started with a large - I could barely get it on - sent it back and got an XL to replace it. The XL fit really tight around the back of my head and neck. I sent it back and ordered an XXL. This XXL finally fit "snug" without causing discomfort in wearing it. The cheekpads are still quite tight, but not to the point of being uncomfortable.I like the features this helmet offers, and for the price it offers quite a bit. If you can get a proper fit with one, this helmet should serve you well. Just keep in mind that they do run quite small.I owned a HJC modular for many years and it has served me well. Weekend Trips, short trips and 3000 + mile trip. It started to break at various points and needed to be retired. I got this HJC helmet, but when I tried it on it didn’t fit like my old helmet…FIT OF A HELMET IS SUBJECTIVE. So I returned it. Not because of any other reason HJC is an AWESOME product. I was not able to find another HJC MODULAR in the size and color I wanted at the time, so I went with another brand. My wife loves both of her HJC helmets modular and half helmet.If your helmet does not feel good while your standing still, it will feel worse on your trip.It got here on time and fits well I got it for my husbands birthdayI’ve owned several HJC helmets in my life and I bought this one in preparation for a big trip across the country. I was disappointed to discover when it arrived that it was too small. All of my other Large HJC helmets fit great, this Large was not big enough and I had to send it back to get an XL.The helmet is a bit tighter than my other hjc helmet. I am a 4xl so my selection is limited. I ordered this thinking I would like to have the COMS unit. After receiving it I tried it on and it is a very tight fit. Due to the battery area on the rear makes the insertion point smaller than normal. This causes it to scratch my temples as it slides past. Once it is on it feels really secure.I have purchased the COMS unit and installation was simple. The music sound quality is fine and call quality is great. It has definitely earned a place amongst my selection of helmets. I am hopping that once the foam has broken in it will loosen up a bit. Over all I think going up to a 5xl might have been a good move. Time will tell.Order 2 sizes up from your normal size. I usually wear a M and the XL kits perfect.Good fit, flip visor comes in handy,seems a little heavy on long rides but I've had neck and shoulder surgery, good price ?
