I installed this on a cheap modular full face helmet. It installed in about 5 minutes by removing the helmet ear pads enough to install the speakers. It connects quick to my phone and is actually so loud that I stalled my bike the first day I used it because I couldn't hear it rev, and it's pretty loud with a Delkevic 9" Carbon Fiber slip on.I ride a naked bike so on the highway there's lots of wind noise but I can still hear my music, even if I'm passing someone and end up at 90+. I only used it once for a phone call to test it, my wife said she could hear me just fine but I did have a hard time hearing her on the highway until she started talking pretty loud.PROS - Loud enough at speed, Fast connection, Easy install if your helmet has removable pads. CONS- No bass, so loud at low speeds it hurts my ears depending on the type of music, sometimes it has a robotic/digital sound to everything but after charging it stops.I really think the reviewers that said they couldn't hear it probably are wearing a open face helmet. I'm glad I got this over the ones that don't have an outside mount.
